Son was born in 1973 in Ha Tay. He graduated from the "Universite des Beaux Arts" in Ho Chi Minh City in 1997. Oil painting is Son's medium of expression. His perfect control of this technique allows him to express his talent on broad canvas. His tones are very delicate and his use of colours gives the impression of a pastel touch. Son's landscapes create a very intimate atmosphere that captures the early morning mists. It looks simple, it is quality work, it is decorative and it is attractive. Son enjoys a growing following from international collectors who are delighted to see the emergence of a new personality in the Vietnamese landscape. His work has already met with considerable success in the United Kingdon, the United States and continental Europe.
