Born in 1937 in Hanoi, Hao graduated at the top of his class from the "Universite des Beaux Arts" in 1960. He spent the next thirty years of his life teaching and painting for theatre scenery. It was only in 1992 that he started to exhibit his work. But very quickly, his large strokes naive style became a landmark : the Hao's style. Now a successful artist, crowned by the wisdom of age, Hao has emerged into the autumnal light. He has attracted wide acclaim in Europe and Asia, winning prizes, including in his own country.
